On June 24, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (TISI) of Thailand issued an announcement stipulating that 20 types of audio-video, information and communication technology (AV/ICT) equipment should be mandatory to comply with the TIS 62368-1 (2563) standard (reference standard: IEC 62368-1 :2018), superseding the old standard TIS 1195-2536. The effective date of products 1-19 is December 21, 2022, and the effective date of product 20 is October 17, 2023.
The list of mandatory products of TIS 62368-1(2563) in the announcement is as follows:
1. The radio
2. TV
3. Signal amplifier
4. CD player
5. Electronic game console
6. Wireless microphone receiver
7. Radio receiver
8. TV receiver
9. Satellite receiver
10. Speakers and Amplifiers
11. Signal converter
12. Signal processor
13. Audio Mixer
14. Electronic musical instruments
15. Audio and video player
16. Network audio and video receiver
17. Cable TV receiver
18. Audio Video Converter
19. Power supply for electronic equipment (that is, the power adapter used for the above 1-18 products)
20. Power adapters for mobile phones and tablets
Note:
- For items 1-18 above, if it is used in public/professional places, it is not within the scope of this standard
- Electronic equipment with voltages below 50Vac or 75Vdc is not within the scope of this standard
