    On October 13, 2023, the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) released the toy safety standard ASTM F963-23. The expected mandatory adoption date will be April 2024.

    Currently, Federal Regulations 16 CFR 1250 still use ASTM F963-17 as a mandatory version.
